Where It All Began
Beans & Blues was born from a simple but powerful idea: that Muswell Hill deserved a place where you could walk in at 7am for a proper coffee and still be welcomed at 8pm for a cocktail and something special to eat.
We opened our doors in 2024 at 237 Muswell Hill Broadway, and from day one we set out to be something different — not a chain, not a franchise, but a genuine neighbourhood restaurant with real heart. A place where the staff remember your name, the food is made with care, and every visit feels like coming home.
The Food
Our kitchen doesn't do shortcuts. Every dish — from the first eggs Benedict of the morning to the last sirloin steak of the evening — is prepared fresh, plated with care, and served the way it deserves to be.
Our menu is a love letter to all-day dining. Breakfast classics sit alongside bold brunch creations, hearty lunch platters, and refined dinner dishes. We're inspired by the rich flavours of the Mediterranean as much as the great British café tradition — and we think that combination makes something genuinely special.
