PDC Darts World Championship 2026: Where to Eat Near Ally Pally

April 9, 2026  ·  3 min read

Every December and January, Alexandra Palace transforms. Tens of thousands of darts fans descend on Muswell Hill from across the UK, the Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Australia — and the rest of the world. Sixteen sessions, packed crowds, fancy dress, and an atmosphere unlike anything else in British sport.

If you’re one of them: welcome. And here’s everything you need to know about eating and drinking near Ally Pally during the World Championship.

The Best Restaurant Near Ally Pally for Darts Fans

Beans & Blues is 8 minutes walk from Alexandra Palace. We’re open from 7am until 8pm every day — which means we cover the morning session crowd (first throw is usually around noon) and the evening session crowd (doors around 6:30pm).

We’ve become the go-to for fans who want a proper meal rather than expensive venue food. Full English before the afternoon session. Cocktails and dinner after the evening one. We’ll even watch it with you if there’s something big on.

Morning Sessions: Breakfast Before the Darts

Afternoon sessions at the Worlds typically start around noon. Doors open around 11:30. That gives you time for a proper sit-down breakfast at Beans & Blues before heading up the hill.

Try the Full English — free-range eggs, proper bacon, the works. Or if you want something lighter, the eggs benedict or smashed avocado. We’re open from 7am and it never feels rushed.

If you’re in a group, let us know in advance and we’ll have the tables ready.

Evening Sessions: Dinner First, Then the Darts

Evening sessions start around 7pm. Get here at 5pm, have a relaxed dinner — big sharing plates, mezze, a pint of draught Moretti — and walk up in good time. The walk up the hill takes about 8 minutes and gives you time to settle in before the first leg.

After the Darts: We’re Open Until 8pm

Most afternoon sessions finish by 5pm or 6pm. If you’re quick, you can be sitting down at Beans & Blues for a post-session drink and something to eat before 6:30. We’re open until 8pm kitchen and bar.

Staying in the Area?

Many fans stay in Muswell Hill, Wood Green, or Crouch End for the duration of the Championship — especially if attending multiple sessions. If that’s you, Beans & Blues is an easy daily base. Breakfast to start the day, lunch between sessions, dinner and cocktails to end it.

We’re at 237 Muswell Hill Broadway, N10 1DE. Call us on 020 8444 9030 or book online.
